There isn't much to say, but welcome to the new version of closedsrc.org, my personal web site, soap box and digital playground.

The new version of the site is the result of several months of pondering, procrastination and plodding away on whether or not the site should be an extension of the existing code, start from scratch or use a pre-canned package. The final decision was to use Drupal as the content management platform, primarily for the numerous ways that it can be extended. While I did entertain the use of WordPress, but I needed a package that does not primarily focus on blogging.

The design of and features integrated into the site are ever-evolving. The content from the old site will slowly be ported over; until then, the old site will still be available at http://old.closedsrc.org.

Note: comments can now be posted anonymously, though all comments are processed by a spam filter before being posted.
